Meanwhile, in 2022, Jakarta was in 29th position. That is, this is a decrease compared to the previous year.

Not only that, the TomTom Traffic Index also selects and ranks 387 cities in 55 countries and 6 continents. Then, from TomTom's Traffic Index data, it is based on Floating Car Data or (FCD). TomTom also mentioned that the data is generated from several sources, aiming to create traffic services for their clients.

TomTom at the time explained that travel time in many cities is the result of several factors or factors that can be grouped into quasi-static factors such as road infrastructure, capacity and speed, and dynamic factors such as traffic jam Current changes. Static factors determine the optimal travel time of a city, dynamic factors determine changes in traffic flow, and the sum of the two forms the travel time.

There will be fewer bookings in 2023 than before, but the travel time required from Jakarta will increase.

TomTom then listed the busiest day in Jakarta in 2023, March 9, 2023, as the worst day to travel to Jakarta. It took drivers 30 minutes and 10 seconds to travel 10 kilometers that day.
